Communicator with a focus on web editor

Do you want to help develop the intranet of an authority with a socially important mission? Are you a web editor with experience working with intranets in a larger organization? Then the position as a communicator with a focus on web editing may be right for you.

About the position

You will enter a phase of intranet development within the Swedish Customs where we are re-evaluating the purpose of the intranet. We are moving towards a more reasonable and sustainable intranet, which will lead us to communicate changes and, together with the business, work on the content. You will be a co-creator in this change.

We are currently implementing major changes to the intranet's content structure and search functionality. Your contribution will be to support and relieve colleagues in managing the content on the intranet and in the shared inbox.

You will work closely with colleagues who currently manage and drive the development and maintenance of the intranet. The same unit also employs editors for the external website, service designers, language caretakers, and form designers. And of course, you will work closely with the entire target group consisting of other colleagues at the Swedish Customs.

Your main tasks include:

  • working practically with the content on the intranet, both in the web publishing tool and in dialogues with the business
  • participating in ongoing management by monitoring a functional mailbox and handling incoming cases
  • collaborating with page-responsible colleagues in the business to keep the intranet updated and relevant.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who has:

  • a university or college degree in communication or another relevant education that the employer assesses as equivalent
  • at least three years of experience in operational work with content on intranets
  • knowledge of digital accessibility
  • the ability to follow the principles of clear language and Swedish writing rules
  • experience working with texts for different target groups, especially with management communication
  • experience with Sitevision in the last three years
  • good knowledge of the Office suite.

It is meritorious if you have:

  • experience working in a government authority.

Personal qualities

Who are you as a person?

  • You work in a structured way and are good at planning, prioritizing, and delivering on time. At the same time, you have no problem quickly adapting when circumstances change.
  • You are good at collaborating.
  • You are curious and brave and dare to try new things.
  • You are driven and goal-oriented and take initiatives that develop the business towards set goals.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
